I’ve been having my period for a while now and i skip occasionally. i was supposed to start the 21’st but i didn’t that’s not whats bothering me though. I’m going to cuba on january 2 and i’m scared my period will start there. I could were tampons but my mom won’t let me. Do you think my period will start the 2 or around that time. All answers greatly appreciated.

If you are skipping periods it’s hard to tell when you will get it again, you should probably be more concerned about why you skip them. Are you sexually active, could you pregnant? Are you stressed about something, this could cause skipped periods. Ask your moms what her reasons are for not wanting you to use tampons, I know my mom believed that it would affect my virginity (weird i know), If you know her reasons against them you might be able to show her what the benefits of tampons are.
from a female i have acquired the knowkedge that:
if you’re young it is quite normal for periods to be a bit irregular and erratic, if you can rule out pregnancy then there is really nothing to worry about.
do not put tampons in unless you are on your period as this can induce toxic shock syndrome. can’t you have a word with your mum, she may be sympathetic about allowing you to use tampons on holiday if it starts.
but it is perfectly normal for periods to be a bit out on timing if you’re young, try not to worry about it as getting stressed can delay periods.

relax, i went on a ROAD trip with my grandparents and my little cousin and i got my period on the road (1st day- till the last day we were driving) and i have a really heavy period… i didn’t know how to use a tampon but my mom packed some and i put it in half way LOL and i got in the water and it swelled up immediatly and i ran back to the room and i was like “the clorine’s stinging my eyes” LMAO!!!!!! dont worry i didnt leak, and just go to a store and buy them yourself, what’s she gonna do about it? it might start…. though, just keep lots of supplies and some gossip mags and get lots of chocolate ice cream=) good luck and have fun on your vaca!!! dont stress bout it you’ll have a ton of fun!
That really sucks. Talk your mom into letting you wear tampons.. it is a vacation.
Are you sexually active? That might be a reason for a delayed period.
i don’t know when you are going to start again but you can go to the doc to get some tablets to postbone it tukk after ur holiday

i cnt say it will START on the second..but if it starts on like the 1st or something, it will go into the day of the 2nd…but it all depends when u start and how long ur periods last
